Player Help
Everything you need to find a recording and enjoy it in the Player.
Getting started
Open Browse to explore the catalogue. You can jump to Latest Releases, Composers, Artists or a catalogue category. Use Search when you know a work, performer, album or catalogue number.
Playing music
Choose Play album to start at the beginning, or select a track title to start there. When you start from an album page, the remaining available tracks are placed in order and can continue automatically. The Player controls pause, previous and next; use the progress control to seek within the current track.
FLAC and MP3
FLAC is the default and highest-quality choice. The Player automatically uses the best available FLAC source for each recording. Choose MP3 when you prefer a lower-bandwidth alternative.
Gapless playback
FLAC playback is designed to continue seamlessly between naturally adjacent tracks, which matters for continuous classical performances. Seeking or fast-forwarding near a track boundary may prevent a seamless transition. Gapless continuity is not guaranteed with MP3.
Queue
Add to Queue places a track at the end; Play Next places it after the current selection. In Queue, drag a track handle to reorder, remove tracks with the remove control, and select an album cover or album title to return to that album.
Guest listening
Guests receive 10 complimentary plays. Account shows the remaining allowance. When it is exhausted, you can continue browsing; subscribe and sign in to keep listening.
Sign in and subscription
Your Player customer identity and subscription access are linked to the same Pristine Classical Shop (Shopify) customer account. Open Account for the sign-in options available to you. Listeners without an active subscription see Subscribe there.
Buying recordings
When an album includes Buy recording, it opens that recording’s Pristine Classical Shop page.
Mobile use
On a phone or tablet, the now-playing bar provides play/pause, previous, next and elapsed time, plus a progress control for seeking. The bottom navigation opens Home, Browse, Search, Queue and Account. Native mobile apps are planned separately and are not yet publicly available.
